Love Island star Millie Court has opened up about her split from Liam Reardon ahead of her return to the All Stars spin-off, hinting that long-distance issues played a role. The 29-year-old won the 2021 series with Welsh bricklayer Liam, but they broke up in September last year after an on-off relationship.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Millie suggested she would not date an international contestant again, saying: 'Only if they agree to move to London – I'm not moving!' This echoes insider claims that the long-distance relationship was too 'difficult' to navigate.
Reflecting on lessons learned, Millie said she has matured and will not tolerate mistreatment, referencing Liam's Casa Amor cheating. 'I won't take as much s**t this time,' she said. She also plans to step away from her usual type, noting: 'I'm very strict with that and I think maybe that's not working.'
Millie, who turns 30 this year, is hoping to find a husband on All Stars. 'I am on the hunt to find my husband and someone who I can have kids with because I don't want another relationship that doesn't work out,' she said.
Love Island: All Stars begins Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
