Married At First Sight UK bride Abi has shared a heartfelt relationship update on social media, receiving an outpouring of support from fans and fellow cast members. The reality star, who joined the experiment later in the series alongside her partner John, marked her birthday with a touching Instagram post.
In the post, Abi wrote: "Turns out marrying a stranger was the best birthday plot twist. My first birthday as a wife and honestly the happiest one yet. Feeling grateful, loved and exactly where I am meant to be." She also debuted a darker hair colour, a change from the blonde locks seen on the show.
Messages of support flooded in from co-stars, with Leisha commenting "You are just perfection," Leigh adding "You are SO beautiful," and Rebecca writing "Happy Birthday you beautiful human forever grateful for you." Fans also shared their well-wishes, with one saying: "Awwww happy birthday Abi you look amazing. So lovely to see you and John still so happy together."
Following the dramatic reunion and finale, John and Abi are the only couple still together after several splits were confirmed. On November 19, Abi posted a collection of snaps documenting their first week post-MAFS UK, including exchanging their first texts on their own mobiles and enjoying their first beach barbecue as a couple.
John also revealed on Instagram that they had been spending time in North Wales, with Abi replying: "Best feeling ever is to step into our new lives together! Wales = Home." Married At First Sight UK is available to stream on Channel 4 online.
