Married at First Sight UK star Leigh Harris has secured a new presenting role just days after a heartbreaking confession about her personal struggles. The 30-year-old NHS clinical coder from Romford attended The Beauty Awards with Boots UK on Tuesday, November 25, where she presented an award alongside fellow MAFS contestant Davide Anica.
Leigh shared the news on Instagram, describing the experience as a 'pinch me moment' and admitting to feeling imposter syndrome. She thanked her management team for the opportunity, which came shortly after her on-screen marriage to Leah Tyrer ended at the final vows.
The pair mutually agreed to separate after a series of disputes, including a kiss between Leigh and fellow bride Leisha Lightbody during a girls' day out. In her final vows, Leigh cited communication issues, trust problems, and unwanted behaviours as reasons for the split.
Earlier this week, Leigh opened up about her mental health, confessing on social media that she is 'still dealing with a lot' and feeling anxious. Despite this, her MAFS co-stars and fans have rallied behind her, with many congratulating her on the new role.
