Married at First Sight UK Star Teases Explosive Reunion Show Drama

Leisha Lightbody, who appeared on the latest series of Married at First Sight UK, has hinted that the upcoming reunion show will be packed with drama. The 34-year-old dental practice manager, who married Reiss Boyce on the E4 reality series, revealed on Instagram that viewers can expect unexpected moments when the special episode airs next year.

During a Q&A with her followers, Lightbody confirmed the reunion's existence and teased: 'There is indeed !! And ALOT of drama happened.' The reunion is expected to air in 2026, following a series that featured several twists involving other participants such as Grace and Ashley, and Abigail and John.

Reflecting on her time on the show, Lightbody admitted she was initially naive about her relationship with Boyce. 'I went into it a bit naive and it was quite hard watching it back but it's actually made me heal a little bit quicker,' she said. She added that she believed they were in a 'fairytale' after final vows, but later realised he did not like her as much as she thought.

The couple, who were paired by experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling, were one of only five couples to reach final vows. However, Lightbody revealed that despite being intimate every night, Boyce gave mixed signals. 'I'm not a body, I'm a human being, I've got feelings,' she said, suggesting he was not emotionally available.

Lightbody also clarified that the TV edit showed only a fraction of their relationship. 'Me and Reece were always in the apartments together when everybody else would go out. We stayed in all cosied up, watching documentaries with our little snacks,' she said. 'I cooked for him every night.'
