Married At First Sight UK experts have intervened after bride Sarah made a series of 'disrespectful' comments about her husband Dean during the first dinner party. The couple, who wed in the debut episode, returned from their honeymoon to mixed feelings, with Sarah openly expressing her disappointment to other participants.
Sarah told the group that she was not attracted to Dean, describing him as 'super high energy' and 'annoying'. She admitted to having the 'ick' and made remarks about his appearance, suggesting he should 'get some tattoos and lose some weight' to spark sexual chemistry. The experts, watching from afar, were unimpressed.
Expert Mel Schilling commented: 'It's starting to feel like Sarah is mocking Dean. This is getting really frustrating to watch.' Charlene Douglas added: 'It's the way that Sarah is going about it that is feeling so disrespectful.' Paul C Brunson later confronted Sarah, saying: 'This man is talking about how lovely his partner is, and you are on the other side disrespecting him!'
Sarah broke down in tears after the confrontation, telling cameras: 'That's not me, that's not who I am.' The drama is set to continue at the commitment ceremony, where the experts will question the couple's future.
