Married At First Sight Australia's Bec Zacharia has opened up about her explosive feud with co-star Gia Fleur, explaining that they clashed almost instantly at the hen party. The 35-year-old Adelaide socialite described Gia as 'in-your-face' and admitted they were 'fundamentally different people'.
The tension escalated during the first Dinner Party when Gia accused Bec's husband Danny of staring at her. Bec dismissed the claim, stating she did not notice her husband looking at Gia all night. The confrontation came after Bec learned Danny had rated his sexual attraction to her as three out of ten, which she described as 'a hard pill to swallow'.
Despite the ongoing rivalry, Bec insisted she respects Gia as a woman and a mother. 'She's just not my person,' Bec said, adding that their mutual dislike does not mean she lacks respect for her. The feud has sparked online criticism, with some viewers branding Bec insecure, but she defended herself by noting she would have left the experiment if she were truly insecure.
Bec also reflected on the positive aspects of her MAFS journey, revealing that watching herself on screen boosted her confidence. She laughed at her own quips, including the line 'it's good for the soul', and admitted she never thought she was funny until seeing herself on the show.
