At the second commitment ceremony, both wrote 'leave' after Rebecca felt 'unheard' by her husband. Steve attributed the breakdown to a 'personality clash'. Rebecca, 44, told her TV husband she felt 'robbed of the experience'.
In an emotional statement, she said: 'When I love and care about people I give everything to them, and I feel like it was a complete waste of time.' Since leaving, both have expressed a continued desire to find love.
Speaking to 9Entertainment, Rebecca admitted: 'Being single for eight years, I didn't realise how lonely I am, I actually want to find love more than anything.' Steve added he 'wasn't going to rush it' in his search for a partner.
