Reality TV personality Samie Elishi has traded the bleak British winter for the dazzling Dubai sun, openly citing the harsh London dating scene and freezing temperatures as her reasons for the escape.
From London Chill to Dubai Thrills
The 25-year-old Love Island star showcased her sun-kissed glow in a series of sizzling Instagram posts taken at the luxurious Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites. Posing in a tiny bikini top paired with an elegant white maxi skirt, Samie captioned the stunning photos with a simple yet telling declaration: 'ldn was too cold x'.
This tropical getaway comes hot on the heels of her exclusive confession to the Daily Mail, where she lamented the state of modern romance. Samie admitted that conventional dating is 'tough' and that she currently finds herself in 'the trenches'.
The Dating Dilemma and Love Island Allure
Samie didn't hold back when discussing her romantic frustrations. 'I do find dating hard,' she confessed. 'I find it hard but not because of Love Island. It's the calibre of men in the world right now, they're just not it.'
She elaborated on the challenges, stating, 'It's so hard to meet someone nice, there's always something. I don't think my job has anything to do with it but it's the generation at the minute. It's really cold and dark on these streets.'
Despite two unsuccessful stints on the hit ITV2 show, Samie revealed she would gladly return for a third time. Earlier this year, she was cast in Love Island: All Stars, flown to South Africa by producers in an attempt to tempt Luca Bish away from Grace Jackson.
Although that mission failed and she returned home single, her enthusiasm for the show remains undimmed. 'I love the show, it has given me everything that I have now, I will always be a top fan,' she gushed.

Samie's dedication to the Love Island franchise is undeniable. She disclosed, 'I remember the first time I went on the show, I had purchased a Love Island water bottle from the website two years before. I love it, I applied to be on the show three times, I am obsessed with it.'
She remains open to another All Stars opportunity, reasoning, 'I would never say never to All Stars because it's such an amazing opportunity... Who doesn't want some winter sun?'
Her most recent relationship was with I'm A Celebrity star Sam Thompson. The 25-year-old influencer dated the former King of the Jungle for two months, marking his first official relationship since his five-year romance with Zara McDermott. However, Samie admitted that while the two remain friends, their romance 'fizzled out' due to their demanding schedules.
As she soaks up the Dubai sun, it seems Samie's search for love continues, with another potential Love Island appearance firmly on the cards.
