Former boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard and television host Brooke Burke were seen sharing a light-hearted moment at the 7th annual Sketchers Pier To Pier Walk Check Presentation in Manhattan Beach, California, on Thursday. The pair attempted to take a selfie on Burke's phone but ended up in hysterics after their poses did not go as planned.
Leonard, 59, dressed in a blue checked sports coat with a crisp white shirt and matching pocket square, while Burke, 44, wore a black and white long-sleeved dress with an A-line skirt and a delicate gold body chain. The event aimed to support children with special needs and education initiatives.
Also present was fitness expert Denise Austin, who showed off her toned physique in a tight purple dress, along with Nickelodeon stars Melissa Carcache and Jailen Bates. The Pier To Pier Friendship Walk, scheduled for October 2016, raises funds for scholarships and educational programmes.
Burke later took to social media to express her delight at honouring 11 students through the Skechers Foundation Scholarship Program and the Friendship Walk. The charity event successfully presented the funds raised to deserving students.
