Love Island All Stars: Fans Slam Charlie's 'Red Flag' Jealousy After Three-Way Kiss
Love Island fans call out Charlie's 'red flag' behaviour

Love Island: All Stars fans have delivered a scathing verdict on contestant Charlie Frederick, labelling his behaviour as 'cringe' and a glaring 'red flag' following a dramatic episode that saw new bombshells enter the villa.

Hypocrisy Sparks Viewer Fury

The latest episode, which aired on Thursday 18 January 2026, was thrown into chaos by the arrival of three new islanders: Samie Elishi, Konnor Edudzi and AJ Bunker. During the series' first recoupling, Konnor chose to pair up with Millie Court, leaving her previous partner, Charlie Frederick, single.

Charlie and fellow single Ciaran were then sent to meet the new female bombshells, Samie and AJ. In a move that did not go unnoticed, Charlie quickly engaged in a flirty game of truth-or-dare, which culminated in a three-way kiss with both Samie and AJ.

'Too Much Too Soon': Charlie's Double Standards Exposed

However, the mood shifted later when Charlie saw Konnor helping Millie apply suncream to her shin. Visibly irritated, Charlie commented to fellow islander Belle, "I'm going to have to interrupt that conversation because it's going on way too long." He then directly addressed Millie, saying, "Touching your leg - it's a bit early for that business, isn't it? Too much too soon."

Viewers were quick to flock to social media platform X to call out the apparent hypocrisy. One fan wrote, "Why is Charlie so defensive? Millie never said you’re three way kiss is deep but you open your mouth to say 'it’s not that deep' I can’t with this man." Another added, "Millie’s chat with Charlie after the sunscreen thing with Konnor… smtg felt off to me… sorry but I hope she looks elsewhere."

Audience Brands Behaviour a Major 'Red Flag'

Many viewers went further, explicitly describing Charlie's jealous reaction as a warning sign. One tweet read, "Hmmmm i might be wrong but charlie is giving [red flag emoji]. Like chill, it’s day 4." A second echoed, "Charlie are you jealous from day 3? [red flag emoji, red flag emoji, red flag emoji]." A third simply stated, "can charlie actually relax it’s genuinely been 3 or 4 days??…"

The criticism wasn't entirely one-sided. Some fans pointed out that Millie also seemed invested in the fledgling connection. "Millie seems to be stuck on Charlie," one observed, while another called the pair "so cringe and extra." A minority defended Charlie, with one viewer tweeting, "Nah Charlie is quite funny."

The drama comes after the show made history by airing a regular episode on a Saturday night for the first time, instead of the usual 'Best Bits' compilation. This schedule change was due to the series' slightly delayed start, caused by the South African wildfires.

Love Island: All Stars continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
