Love Island Boys Slam 'Disrespectful' Finley as Villa Divide

ITV's Love Island is thrown into turmoil tonight as an unexpected text message sends ripples of shock throughout the villa. The text, which reads "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling in which the girls will decide which boy they want to couple up with," leaves some Islanders confident while others confront tough decisions.

Text Sparks Recoupling Tensions

Lorenzo quips, "The girls finally get to speak," and Yasmin enthusiastically tells Tommy, "I can finally get to say what I've been planning to say!" However, for others, the recoupling brings anxiety. In the wake of Finley's double date drama, both Ellie and Elicia must weigh up where their hearts genuinely rest, while Priya remains trapped between Aidan and Ethan.

Ethan warns Priya, "Big decisions for you, Pri," causing her to confess, "I feel sick." As the girls prepare for the evening, their minds turn to the speeches they'll deliver at the Firepit, but some decisions could alter the trajectory of events, leaving some Islanders exposed.

Finley Under Fire from Fellow Islanders

Finley continues to grapple with his emotions, having faced criticism from fans and fellow Islanders alike over his behaviour towards newcomers Elicia and Ellie. The ongoing dispute deepens a rift within the villa, as a fiery argument threatens to erupt. In the first look, the boys grow increasingly irritated with Finley. Aidan confesses, "We've defended him a lot in here."

Samraj comments, "I feel like he's mugged Ellie off, he's mugged Elicia off, he's mugged the boys off, he's mugged the girls off and he's mugging himself off." Tommy labels Finley's actions as "disrespectful," and Ellie confides in the girls on the Terrace, exclaiming, "I'm sick of it... I'm done."

Finley Confronts the Boys

Finley soon overhears the conversation and confronts the boys about their comments. After claiming it's a "miscommunication," Finley retorts, "It's not about you to know, it's about me to know." Finley maintains that he knows where his feelings stand, but it remains to be seen whether his actions will persuade Ellie and the rest of the Villa.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
