The family of Love Island All Stars contestant Belle Hassan have released a statement following the latest recoupling, which saw her left in a friendship couple with Jack. The 27-year-old was not chosen by any of the male islanders, with Sean opting for Lucinda, leaving Belle paired with Jack, who admitted they would be just friends.
Belle's family, who are managing her social media while she is in South Africa, posted on her Instagram: 'Patiently waiting for a bombshell to walk in the villa and sweep our beautiful girl off her feet...PLSSS.' They also urged fans to vote for her to stay, writing: 'Even though our girly is in a friendship couple PLEASE vote to keep her in so she knows how loved she is.'
The recoupling saw Kyra choose Curtis, Imani pick Konnor, Carrington pair with Helena, Yamen stick with Whitney, and Zac remain with Millie. Sher's decision to couple with Scott caused shockwaves, as he had been in a strong couple with Leanne. Sean unsurprisingly picked Lucinda, Ciaran selected Samie, and Tommy opted for Leanne.
Belle has had a turbulent time in the villa, recently clashing with Sean after he kissed her during a game of Spin the Bottle. When Sean tried to apologise, saying he hadn't been very nice, Belle replied: 'You do what's right for you 'cause that's what you'll always do…I literally don't care about what's coming out of your mouth.'
Fans have shown support, with former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan commenting 'A queen' on Belle's Instagram post. Another fan wrote: 'Yessss I’m patiently waiting for a man for her too she deserves the whole world.' Love Island All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
