Love Island has been rocked by a dramatic recoupling just days before the final, with three couples reportedly splitting up and switching partners. The shock twist, set to air on Sunday night, follows the fallout from the controversial Grafties ceremony, which exposed secret conversations and caused division in the villa.
A villa source told The Sun: 'It's fair to say the fallout of the Grafties has had major repercussions. No one would've seen this recoupling coming a week ago. Usually Love Island gets a little predictable in the final days but this lot are still moving mad.'
The shake-up comes as Harry faces criticism from fellow islanders over his behaviour towards Helena and Shakira. In Friday's episode, Conor confronted Harry in the Den, questioning his intentions, while Helena challenged him at the Firepit about his flirtations and comments about newcomer Angel.
Just two days earlier, Harry had asked Helena to go exclusive after a festival-themed celebration featuring Tinie Tempah. However, within 24 hours, he was spotted flirting with Shakira again, leaving her devastated and feeling isolated.
The recoupling also saw the surprising return of original islanders Megan and Blu, who had been eliminated earlier in the series. Megan had faced criticism after ditching Tommy for Conor, while Blu was voted out again after a tense battle with bombshell Shea.
With the finale approaching on Monday, August 4, the villa is gearing up for a climactic end to a week filled with drama and tension. The new pairings are being kept under wraps, but the recoupling is expected to leave fans gobsmacked.
