Lisa Riley's fiancé, Al, has brushed off her recent confession of having a crush on I'm A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin, insisting their relationship is rock solid. The Emmerdale star, 49, admitted in the Bush Telegraph that she finds Ant 'very juicy' and would 'give you a nice night', but Al said he has no concerns.
Speaking ahead of her jungle appearance, Al said: 'There is no business like showbusiness, right? It’s all good. I have no fears of her letting me go.' The couple have been together since 2014 and got engaged in 2018, though Lisa has previously said they are unlikely to marry.
Lisa, known for playing Mandy Dingle, also joked about her flatulence in the jungle, saying Al teased her about eating beans. 'The very last thing he said was: 'Just be you.' But then he said, 'Good God, you are going to be having a lot of beans,'' she recalled.
Al, a musician, said he is proud of Lisa and looking forward to meeting her on the jungle bridge. 'Hopefully not the first one out. Hopefully at the end,' he added.
Lisa also revealed she is unfazed about appearing without makeup on TV. 'I love looking raw on TV... I am not a vain actress. People will see that I am going to look like an absolute minger, and I will embrace that,' she said.
