Kelvin and Liz Fletcher have confirmed when the fifth season of Fletchers' Family Farm will premiere on ITV. Speaking exclusively on the red carpet of the National Television Awards on Tuesday (September 8), Kelvin revealed new episodes will be released at "the end of September", prompting Liz to joke: "We're gonna get in trouble." She added that they "can't wait" for fans to see what the family have been up to on the farm.
Life in the Peak District
Opening up about life in the Peak District, Kelvin shared: "Every day's a school day, as they say. I guess that's the biggest, one of the biggest, pluses and positives [of] what we're doing. It's just a great experience. Every day [there's] something new, a new challenge, and you feel richer for it, really."
The announcement comes months after ITV ordered two additional series, following the show's strong performance. In June, Fletchers' Family Farm had amassed 6.3 million streams on ITVX in the year so far, according to the Daily Star.
Statement on the show's return
Sharing their excitement at the show's return, Kelvin and Liz previously said in a statement: "We're delighted to be returning for series five and six. What started as a simple desire to share our family's journey has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.
"We'd like to thank ITV for their continued support and belief in the series and Daisybeck Studios for creating such a true account of our lives. As we enter this next chapter, we're also proud that Fletcher Studios will be joining Daisybeck as co-production partner on the series. It's an exciting step for us creatively."
National Television Awards outcome
Fletchers' Family Farm was nominated for the Reality Docuseries award at the National Television Awards this week but lost to fellow farming programme, Clarkson's Farm. Jeremy Clarkson shared his gratitude as he accepted the award on stage at the O2 Arena in London.
Hosted by comedian Joel Dommett for the sixth year in a row, the 2026 NTAs saw Emmerdale and Celebrity Traitors take the top gongs, while Sir David Attenborough won the Best TV Presenter award. Special Recognition winner Alan Carr was surprised on stage by friends Amanda Holden and Paloma Faith, appearing emotional as he accepted the only gong not voted for by the public.
Despite the loss, Fletchers' Family Farm continues to draw praise from viewers. One Facebook user wrote: "Great family programme. Love every moment, never get fed up with watching it." Another added: "Wish it was on every night of the week. Wee Marnie is such an intelligent wee girl and all the children are a delight to watch. Well done and keep it up." A third said: "Absolutely love it." A fourth viewer echoed the sentiment: "Love this programme and have not missed an episode!! The children all help - even the two smallest ones.
