Wednesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! saw tensions flare in camp as model Kelly Brook found herself at the centre of viewer criticism following a kitchen clash with Jack Osbourne.
The Eel Cooking Controversy
The drama unfolded during dinner preparations after comedian Eddie Kadi successfully won six stars in the day's Bushtucker Trial, called Scare-ium. The 45-year-old model attempted to take charge of cooking the eel that Eddie had secured for the camp.
As Kelly asked Jack Osbourne for help with preparing the fish, she quickly criticised his method of trying to cut it before taking the task back from him. The situation escalated when she began gagging over the fishy smell, eventually putting on a dramatic display as she wretched in a bush at the side of the camp.
Viewer Backlash on Social Media
Audiences watching at home didn't hold back their opinions, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to brand Kelly 'insufferable' and express their frustration with her behaviour.
One viewer wrote: 'Kelly Brook is seriously getting on my wick, asking Jack to do the eel, then shaming for doing it, then when she took it back from him retching #ImACeleb glad she's got tomorrow's trial.'
Another disappointed fan commented: 'I thought I was gonna love Kelly Brook in this, but my god she's a flipping whinger!! #ImACeleb.'
The criticism continued with viewers noting: 'Kelly Brook is becoming insufferable which is a shame because everyone else is actually quite pleasant #ImACeleb,' while others observed her 'picking at Jack Osbourne as if she's his sister Kelly Osbourne.'
Eddie's Challenging Bushtucker Trial
Earlier in the episode, Eddie Kadi faced his own challenges during the Scare-ium trial. Equipped with a snorkel, the comedian found himself in a tank with eels and toads as he attempted to unlock a series of chests to secure stars for camp.
The trial proved difficult when Eddie dropped one of the keys in the crocodile and snake-infested waters, struggling to control his breath as panic set in. Despite dropping three keys in total, he managed to secure six stars for camp.
Returning to camp visibly disappointed with his result, Eddie explained: 'Do you know what, I got past the animals, we made friends. But the moment I lost the key that threw me. My breath just went man. It just got tougher.'
Fans sympathised with Eddie's efforts, with one noting on social media: 'Eddie did well, that was tough,' while another observed: 'Fair play to Eddie. He couldn't care less about the creatures, it was the water that caused him trouble.'
Other Camp Developments
The episode also featured what camp members dubbed 'rice gate' after Ruby Wax forgot to take the rice off the fire before it burned. The comedian confessed to cameras it was her fault but appeared fearful to admit this to her fellow campmates.
Elsewhere, emotional conversations emerged as Lisa Riley opened up about her sobriety, revealing she used to drink three bottles of Malbec a night after her mother died. Now ten years sober, she confessed: 'I was having to put the smile on at work by inside I was the biggest broken biscuit in the history of man.'
Martin Kemp also shared personal struggles, discussing his brain tumour and how surgery left him with dyslexia.
As the episode concluded, hosts Ant and Dec revealed that Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson would be joining the camp during Thursday's episode, unbeknownst to the original group. They also announced that Aitch, Angry Ginge and Kelly Brook would all be taking part in Thursday's trial.
