Kelly Brook has reignited a feud with American pop star Lizzo, describing her as 'insufferable' after a live radio interview where she claims the singer blanked her completely. The 45-year-old model and presenter, who is set to appear on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, recalled the awkward encounter while speaking about her experiences on Heart Radio's drivetime show.
Brook, who co-hosts with Jason 'JK' King, said Lizzo refused to acknowledge her during the interview. 'I thought she would be a bit more for the women but she didn't take her glasses off and she didn't look at me once. She just spoke to JK,' Brook told The Sun. 'For me someone like Lizzo is a strong woman and I just thought she would be a bit warmer towards me. But it was like I didn't even exist.'
The former Strictly Come Dancing star added that the encounter was 'weird' and unusual, as most guests are warm. 'It was weird. Most people we love. It's very rare we get one that's like that. That was unusual,' she said.
Brook's comments come as she prepares to swap the radio studio for the Australian jungle. She was spotted at Heathrow Airport with husband Jeremy Parisi, saying she will miss her dog Teddy and her husband. Insiders claim she went to great lengths to prepare Teddy's meals, including poached salmon and venison steak, labelling them to prevent her husband from eating them.
Brook had previously said she would never do I'm a Celebrity, citing a fear of confined spaces and distaste for eating insects. However, seven years later, she has changed her mind and is ready to face the jungle challenges.
