Movie Night Unveils Flirty Chats
The eagerly-awaited Movie Night segment on ITV2's Love Island showed clips of private conversations between Islanders, exposing the true extent of Jasmine and Lorenzo's flirting. This followed a public tweet earlier in the series accusing them of having "an affair in plain sight." Both had been honest with their partners at the time about being flirty, but witnessing the conversations left the villa—including their exes Yasmin Hadlow and Kavan Murphy—stunned.
Family Weighs In on Aftersun
On the companion show Love Island: Aftersun, host Maya Jama spoke with Jasmine's mother and sister Bella. Jasmine's mum admitted to having "sleepless nights" over the drama, saying: "All you want is for her to be happy, and find someone that appreciates the woman she is and the sassy baddie that she is."
Regarding Lorenzo, she stated: "Initially I thought they were a really nice connection but you don't know what goes on when you're in there because you only see snippets. He doesn't have the affection that she wants." Sister Bella advised Jasmine to "let Kavan grovel" and "let him chase" if she wants to repair their connection.
Other Revelations from Movie Night
The episode also revealed that Priya Jaswal learned her current partner, Casa Amor bombshell Jordon Wilson, had admitted to Jasmine that he wasn't really attracted to her—information Jasmine failed to pass along. Priya also discovered negative remarks from her ex Samraj Toor, who said she gave him "the ick" while still being intimate with her. The Movie Night drama continues in the July 6 episode.
