ITV has released the first trailer for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! 2026, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly set to return on November 16 for the 26th series. The trailer has intensified jungle fever, but it is the rumoured celebrity line-up that is sparking debate among fans.
Rumoured cast list revealed
As usual, 12 famous faces will compete to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, following last year's surprise winner, YouTube star Angryginge (real name Morgan Sam Lee Burtwistle). Earlier this year, former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, Olympic champion Christopher Dean, and Ibiza nightclub owner Wayne Lineker were reported to be odds-on for the show, but according to reports, they have not made the cut.
ITV has kept the identities of this year's cast under wraps until launch night, which only fuels speculation. Popular X account Super TV shared the rumoured line-up, including former England footballer Wayne Rooney, Big Brother host AJ Odudu, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, ex-Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, Diversity's Perri Kiely, and Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna Page.
Fans divided over the names
Also named are Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova, Love Island's Chloe Burrows, BBC presenter Ade Adepitan, Mis-Teeq singer Su-Elise Nash, Beta Squad YouTuber Sharky, and ex-England cricketer Ben Stokes. The prospect of these 12 names heading to Australia excited many fans, with one responding on X: "I actually know most of them, I can't believe it." Another said: "The fact I know 90% of them makes it suspicious to me." A third posted: "Oh I know 8 of them! To be fair though, I'm not one of 'those' people. I'll watch it whoever's on."
However, some were less enthusiastic, admitting they did not recognise most of the names. One X user said: "I only know Wayne, AJ, Jesy, Joanna, Chloe." Another asked: "Who the hell is Sharky?" A third speculated: "Wayne Rooney is highly unlikely sadly." A fourth cast doubt on Nadiya Bychkova, asserting: "I don't think Nadiya is going in as she is booked for panto at the beginning of December."
Trailer features offal-drenched choir
Sharing a snippet of the new trailer on Friday (October 16), ITV captioned: "Oh, the Bushtucker trials are frightful, but the campfire's so delightful.... I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Returning soon to ITV1." The video showed Ant and Dec directing a choir singing an I'm A Celeb rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas, who got drenched in "12 tubs of offal". Dec jested: "Good start!"
