I'm A Celebrity 2026 first look: Ant and Dec tease return

Ant and Dec have teased the return of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! with a brand new festive trailer. The Geordie duo have fronted the ITV1 reality survival show since 2002, and the format has seen countless stars from the world of showbiz bolster their careers by taking on various challenges in the Australian outback.

Festive Trailer Reveals Bushtucker Twist

Ahead of the programme's return on November 16, a short clip was released where Ant and Dec conducted a choir in singing a new take on the 12 Days of Christmas, all centred on the grisly life that awaits whoever signs up to appear. Gold rings and turtle doves are swiftly swapped for "vomit smoothies" and "two tonnes of mud" as the seven-piece choir, kitted out in cosy Christmas jumpers, endure wave after wave of Bushtucker terror.

When the performance is over, Ant says: "That's really got me into the spirit," and Dec says: "Isn't it just the most wonderful time of the year?"

Rumoured Line-Up Includes Wayne Rooney and Jesy Nelson

Little is known about the line-up for this year's edition of the long-running reality show, but several stars have been rumoured to have signed up. One of the first names to surface was that of football legend Wayne Rooney, whose wife Coleen competed in the jungle just under two years ago. It was claimed that bosses had been in "negotiations with him for some time," but on a recent appearance on This Morning, he simply said fans would "have to wait and see."

Another big name tipped to be heading in is pop star Jesy Nelson, who last year gave birth to twin daughters Ocean and Story. Both were born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 1. She successfully lobbied the government and joined forces with the Mirror to campaign to have all newborns tested for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) when her twin girls were diagnosed too late after irreversible nerve damage.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Continuing to raise awareness around SMA for her girls is something Jesy is very keen to do, and she knows she can use a platform like I'm A Celebrity to reach millions."

Other Stars Rumoured to Enter the Jungle

Other stars rumoured to have signed up include Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson, and former Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova. Last year, stars like Lisa Riley, Kelly Brook and Ruby Wax competed before YouTuber Angry Ginge was crowned King of the Jungle.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returns this November on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
