I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant Shona McGarty has been accused of not pulling her weight with camp chores, after an unseen clip aired on the show's Unpacked spin-off. The former EastEnders star is tasked with keeping the camp's water supply filled alongside Loose Women's Kelly Brook.
In the clip, Kelly is seen repeatedly carrying heavy water containers, telling the Bush Telegraph: "It's a really hard one to nail. Being across water is one of the harder jobs. There's a lot of carrying and heavy lifting." Meanwhile, Shona comments: "I think Kelly's getting on really well. Every time I look around there's new water on the boil. She's smashing it. But it's all that heavy lifting."
Fellow campmate Ruby Wax questions whether Shona is on water duty, saying: "I didn't know that. I didn't think you were on water duty. You weren't seen." Shona replies: "Was I not? You think it was just Kel only? I was doing the weights up the stairs." Ruby persists: "I've never seen Shona do the water," with Lisa adding: "No, I'm totally with you."
Viewers were quick to comment on social media, with one writing: "#ImACeleb #Unpacked just aired a FULL unseen clip of Kelly filling and carrying water SEVERAL times... Shona then LYING saying yeah yeah heavy stuff up the stairs. Then it showed Kelly carrying up more water at night while Shona was ASLEEP!! She hasn’t lifted a FINGER." Another said: "Very interesting on Unpacked that Shona isn’t pulling her weight on chores & Ruby/Lisa noticing!! How hasn’t Kelly kicked off!?"
