Good Morning Britain was thrown into chaos by an “iconic” interruption during Friday's show, as Jedward barged into Alex Beresford's weather forecast.
The programme on 28 September saw Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway host, stepping in for Susanna Reid and Ed Balls. Guests included a woman who had been hospitalised after mistaking sepsis for an ingrown hair, and a tense clash with Reform UK spokesperson Zia Yusuf.
Jedward's studio interruption
The X Factor icons also made a guest appearance, speaking to Richard Arnold about their careers and stint on Big Brother. However, the pair caused chaos in the studio when one interrupted Alex Beresford's weather segment.
Coming into shot, they told Alex: “It’s gonna be a TV blooper.” As Alex had been telling viewers about cloudier skies, the famous Jedward quiff popped onto screens, beginning: “All the best.” “We’re making an iconic moment,” they added, asking Alex to dance with them onscreen. “All right, back to the weather.”
Viewers react to the 'jepic' moment
The clip was shared on social media with the title: “Today’s forecast: Jedward with a chance of chaos,” adding: "Category J storm in the GMB studio." One person wrote: “Brilliant and fantastic. You guys are so funny.”
“We love Jedward,” another said. A third wrote: “Hahahaha this is amazing.” Jedward also replied, commenting: “Thanks @alexberesfordtv for being such a jepic legend.” They added: “Jepic storm of double trouble.”
Someone else said: “Jepic forecast love to see it.” Another added: “Brilliant, I'd have a storm jedward any day.” Someone else said: “always expect the unexpected... it's gonna be jepic!!”
Jedward break silence on Big Brother exit
This comes after Jedward broke their silence over leaving the Big Brother house, insisting they didn’t set out to “make trouble”. They had returned to social media before their final scenes on the show aired, taking aim at the other housemates.
Writing on X, one post said: "The truth hurts I guess I think we deserve a medal for the honesty and impact we brought to the house authentic vibes always. They acting too pretentious and predictable and raging we clocked." While another added: "Don't ask for an opinion if you can't handle the truth I was calm, collected, fair and straight with them #bbuk."
They later hit back at claims they’d been “kicked out” saying: “We didn't get kicked out lol we completed our agreed time in the Big Brother House and made History.” “Absolute legends in there!!! Go back in!!” one fan said. Another wrote: “You were brilliant. Told them how it is. Well played.”
