The mystery around Rachel's death deepened in Coronation Street as Lucy Parkinson screamed 'It's all my fault' during a panic attack.
Earlier this year, Tim Metcalfe visited his cousin Richie's house and found Richie standing in a blood-covered shirt. Richie's partner Rachel lay dead on the floor.
Richie was arrested and thrown in a prison cell, while his daughter Lucy moved in with Tim and Sally Metcalfe.
Lucy's Struggles at Sally and Tim's House
Lucy has struggled to settle in at Sally and Tim's house. At first, she'd get angry whenever she felt the need to defend her dad, but these outbursts are now happening more frequently.
A couple of days ago, Sally found a drawing that Lucy had done of a woman screaming. She asked if it was Rachel, and Lucy saw red afterwards.
As night fell, Lucy took a call from her dad. They both made comments that fuelled the theory that Richie killing Rachel in self-defence wasn't true, and the possibility of Lucy actually being the one who ended Rachel's life increased again.
Tim's Concerns and Lisa's Promise
In the garden, Tim got chatting to neighbour DS Lisa Connor-Swain, who was curious about how Lucy was getting on. Tim ended up admitting that he's worried Richie is putting pressure on Lucy to back up his version of events over Rachel's murder.
Lisa said that she'd try and get more information for Tim, but neither of them realised Lucy was listening in on their chat.
Panic Attack and Confession
That evening, clearly overwhelmed by whatever secret she's keeping, Lucy headed upstairs to bed early. A few hours later, Lucy came downstairs and startled Sally and Tim by knocking some items off the side in the kitchen.
Sally and Tim went to comfort Lucy, who began to suffer a panic attack. 'It's all my fault!', Lucy said as she screamed in terror.
The question now is whether Lucy is referring to killing her mum.
