Celebrity Traitors viewers were left stunned as one contestant made a blunder at breakfast, which could spell the end of their involvement in the programme. Thursday's (October 8) instalment began with the roundtable, where the majority of participants identified Richard E. Grant as a Traitor.
Richard E. Grant's Historic Banishment
The roundtable followed Richard's dramatic self-revelation as a Traitor, shortly after his appointment alongside Maya Jama. The duo had recruited James Acaster, but Richard's mistake proved costly, with even his fellow Traitors casting votes against him at the roundtable. Richard departed the programme when he made history as the first Traitor to be banished at the first roundtable of the series.
The celebrities discovered there would be a murder that evening, with Jerry Hall and Hannah Fry identified as the two at risk. As the Traitors opted to recruit Hannah - and she agreed - no murder took place.
Jerry Hall's Breakfast Blunder
This development, however, placed Jerry and Hannah squarely under scrutiny at breakfast, with their fellow contestants speculating that one had been recruited, reports the Express. Yet Jerry, who is a Faithful, appeared visibly taken aback by Richard's departure as she called out across the table: "What about Richard?" The room went quiet, as Jerry tried to clarify that she was simply astonished by him being a Traitor.
YouTuber and boxer King Kenny promptly accused Jerry of "trying to change the subject", while Maya maintained that she had never witnessed the American model appear so animated. Viewers were swift to react to the blunder, with many convinced that her intervention inadvertently shifted suspicion away from Hannah and squarely onto herself.
Viewer Reactions and Myha'la's Exit
One remarked: "OBSESSED with Jerry accidentally swooping in & saving Hannah." Another posted: "Jerry just made herself look very very strange there." A third wrote: "Screaming that Jerry Hall being Jerry Hall is creating more suspicion than Hannah Fry." A fourth observed: "Jerry's dumb breakfast outburst really did save Hannah because she was fumbling."

The actor made history by becoming the first Traitor to be banished at the first roundtable in the history of the series. He said: "I have managed to checkmate myself, which, as far as I'm aware, has never been done."
