Celebrity Traitors fans issue same complaint weeks into series

Fans of Celebrity Traitors have voiced a recurring complaint weeks into the second series of the BBC One spin-off, with many calling for a change to the show's format.

The programme returned to screens earlier this month following its successful first series last year. It features 21 new celebrity players staying in a Scottish castle to compete for charity, guided by host Claudia Winkleman. The series has already seen banishments, murders and recruitments as the Faithfuls attempt to identify the Traitors, with the final scheduled to air on Friday, October 30.

Week Three Developments

Week three began during Thursday's (October 15) edition, in which Traitor Hannah Fry was banished. Fellow Traitors Maya Jama and James Acaster then chose to recruit YouTuber and boxer Kenny Ogheno Ojuederie, known as King Kenny, who accepted the offer and requested loyalty from his new allies.

Friday's (October 16) episode saw speculation grow when no murder had taken place as the remaining contestants arrived at breakfast. Claudia then teased the players before leading them to their latest mission, which split them into two groups heading to separate locations.

Viewer Complaints About Challenges

Each group worked along a path collecting heads worth £1,500 each to build statues, adding £7,500 to the prize fund after five statues were completed. Traitor Maya also picked up a shield during the task.

However, viewers took to social media to express their frustration. @MN456782 wrote: "Can we scrap these boring challenges and just have the roundtable shown. #thetraitors #celebritytraitors." @QUAYSTER commented: "Icl the challenges are so air, get me to the round table #CelebrityTraitors."

@sseedfx80 wrote: "Get to the round table #celebritytraitors." @kevwgs posted: "Me waiting for the challenge to be over so the round table can start #CelebrityTraitors." @DPatz13 added: "Wish they edited show so we seen more Round Table & less of the challenge #CelebrityTraitors."

The complaints highlight a growing desire among viewers for more focus on the roundtable discussions rather than the challenges, as the series continues towards its final on October 30.
