Fans of The Celebrity Traitors have been left "gutted" and "angry" after the latest celebrity was murdered in the show's third week.
The BBC series returned for a second round following its successful first series last year. Twenty-one new celebrity players have moved into the Scottish castle to take part in an explosive mission, with host Claudia Winkleman guiding them through it.
The game follows the celebrity contestants – the majority of whom are known as Faithfuls – as they try to seek out the murderous traitors among them, who kill off players in the middle of the night. Stars compete to win a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Celebs already eliminated
Celebs who have already left the show include actor Richard E Grant, who was made a Traitor and was first to be banished, journalist and broadcaster Amol Rajan, who was murdered by the Traitors, actor Bella Ramsay, who was murdered, and American singer Myha’la and actor Julie Hesmondhalgh, who were also banished.
At the end of the last episode, the Traitors – Maya Jama, Rebecca Fry and James Acaster – were about to pick between four Faithfuls – Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan and Ross Kemp – to murder.
Little Mix star Leigh-Anne was given a key which granted her immunity, which meant it was either Rob, Romesh or Ross who were murdered face-to-face by the Traitors.
Fans react to Rob's murder
At the beginning of Thursday night's episode (October 15), the Traitors revealed their decision to murder comedian Rob, which left fans watching at home devastated.
On X, formerly Twitter, @SolipsismCrisis wrote: "Can't believe they killed Rob", and @JLP_93x said: "I'm actually fuming Rob has gone! I'm so angry"
@KayleighAnslow wrote: "Gutted for Rob, he was fantastic", and @emilymeowwww said: "Not being funnnnny but why are all the best people being voted off"
Rob and Romesh were known for being a dynamic duo on the show, leading @RyanJL to write: "A little gutted to lose Rob before we got to see him and Romesh reach the point of really having to suspect each other", and @hannah__2599 added: "Rob and Romesh can't be separated".
@sammi__louise agreed: "Oh they split up Rob and Romesh :("
The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC and iPlayer at 8pm on Thursday and Friday evenings.
