Big Brother favourite Philip Regan has been dealt a brutal blow before this week's eviction, as ITV viewers appear to have changed their minds about the content creator.
It is currently the Week of Revelations in the iconic house, which means the housemates' real opinions about each other are slowly being exposed. This also means they will be forced to cast their nominations face-to-face.
But newcomers Twinks and Catrin are immune from this week's votes, although they still have power to nominate two of their fellow housemates. With another eviction set to take place this Friday, supporters have been convinced that the 53-year-old will win this series, but recent odds suggest he is losing public favour.
Twinks becomes new favourite
Bookmaker Coral has revealed that Twinks is now the favourite to win Big Brother 2026. The fashion stylist is Coral's 5-2 favourite to win following just two days in the famous house. Her odds have been slashed from 7-1 since she arrived last Friday evening.
Meanwhile popular contestant Philip is now second best in the firm's betting at 3-1, while Rochelle can be backed at 4-1. This is a harsh blow for Philip because it seems his support on the outside world is slowly slipping.
"We have seen a flood of support for Twinks in our Big Brother betting over the last 48 hours. The new housemate has jumped to the top of the betting and is now the clear favourite to be crowned the winner," said Coral's John Hill.
Fallout over heart-to-heart
It comes just hours after Twinks and Philip had a heart-to-heart after the 36-year-old complained about three housemates not making an effort to get to know her. She claimed Philip, Rochelle and Rhianna haven't been very welcoming, and her complaint made its way back to Philip.
Confronting the East Londoner, Philip defended himself: "You haven't made half an effort since you've come in here. Catrin came right up to me [and asked] 'How are you?'. I have been up to you, I tried to make conversation with you and you didn't wanna f**** know. This is the way I feel. You didn't wanna know."
He went on: "You came in this house, you should have tried to be friends with all of us." Twinks then shared her own perspective and admitted joining the competition in its third week has been "nerve-wracking".
She explained: "Do you know how nerve-wracking it is coming in at this point? You've all bonded. I'm not here to force my way in. I'm just here to be myself. I think we're gonna get on like a house on fire but I wasn't gonna force that if that wasn't what you wanted. I would love to form a bond with you, but again, right now it feels like waking up at a one-night-stand's house. Or it feels like 'I shouldn't be here. Do they fancy me or not? God, what have I done?'"
The duo seem to have settled their differences. Big Brother is streaming on ITVX.
