Rochelle has been crowned the winner of Big Brother 2026, defeating Twinks in a tense final showdown. Upon hearing the result, she responded with a six-word statement: "All the suffering was worth it."
The finale capped an eight-week series packed with drama, from the rise and fall of a house hierarchy to controversial comments and clashes. A procession of celebrity houseguests, including Gemma Collins, Jedward and Tiffany Pollard, also appeared during the run.
One contestant left the house after just two weeks, while the series began with YouTuber Tays recruited as Big Brother's mole. Before the result was unveiled, viewers saw the remaining contestants share one last meal together and reflect on their experience in the Diary Room.
Final Rankings and Reactions
Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best hosted the live show, disclosing the public vote results for each remaining contestant. The final rankings saw Catrin in 6th, Lynx in 5th, Samuel in 4th and Yasmin in third, with Rochelle clinching victory over Twinks.
As Twinks got ready to leave, Rochelle exclaimed: "What?! What?! Oh my God. Oh my God." Twinks was greeted by cheers, with the crowd and former housemates chanting "Recount." During her interview, there were more chants of "You should have won."
Rochelle then walked out to a mixed response, with some fellow contestants unable to hide their feelings. Will had to ask the crowd to calm down as they struggled to be heard by Rochelle.
Fan Backlash and Support
Fans were quick to voice their opinions on the results, with many left unimpressed. One fan posted: "And that just ruined such a good series." Another chimed in: "Well that was disappointing. I really thought twinks had it in the bag."
Someone else replied: "I have never been soooo disappointed in a result in all of my life. But the 'public' have spoken I guess.." A third fan remarked: "Even the way AJ said Rochelle… NO ONE WANTED THIS."
However, one fan offered: "Look Rochelle isn’t liked BUT she has carried this show. The arguments, the fall outs - there is a difference between winning and being liked!" Someone else agreed: "YEEEEES. I am over the moon that Rochelle has won Big Brother. I don't agree with what she says a lot of the time but that doesn't matter. She was so entertainment."
