Pauline and Chelsey are set to face the public vote in this week's Big Brother live eviction after receiving the most nominations from fellow housemates. The pair's audition tapes were revealed during last night's spin-off show, The Group Chat, with Pauline sharing a heartfelt reason for applying.
Nominations and eviction details
During last night's episode (September 23), housemates gave their first nominations of the series. Pauline received the highest number of votes from six housemates, followed by Chelsey with five nominations. The two will now go head to head, with viewers voting for who they wish to leave.
One housemate will say their goodbyes in Friday's live event, airing at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
Audition tapes revealed
As the pair battle to be saved by the public, ITV has shared their audition tapes, in which both explain why they applied for the series. The clips were played during The Group Chat, hosted by GK Barry and Kate Lawler, with special guest Yinrun Huang.
This is not the first time Chelsey's audition tape has been revealed, with ITV sharing another video of her explaining her reasons for applying. In the new clip, she said: "I think I'm really fun, I'm honest. I'm not afraid to say what I think. If someone p***** me off they will know about it." She also admitted she applied for the show to step out of her comfort zone, saying she "loves a bit of character building".
Pauline's heartfelt reason
In her clip, Pauline was seen videoing herself from her garage, sitting on a motorbike. She said: "Now I've found, opinions are like number twos if we don't have them we'd all be full of s***. So I'm going to be vocal with my very honest opinion as I am in my every day life. That definitely won't change. Now, more than anything I'd love to spend my birthday in there and I'm doing this for five year old Pauline. So come on Big Brother, let's make some dreams happen ey?"
Kate described the audition clip as "iconic", while GK Barry was left confused about why she was filmed in a garage. Yinrun was impressed, adding: "Wow, oh that's amazing." Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
