Big Brother fans have taken to social media to express their frustration after spotting what they believe is a 'game playing' move by housemate Rhianna, with some demanding she be put up for eviction.
With roughly two weeks to go until the series finale, tensions in the house are rising as friendships crumble and housemates turn on one another. Viewers, however, were left unimpressed after last night's episode (Sunday, October 25), which saw Rochelle struggling in the aftermath of the family and friends visit and the live eviction.
Rhianna under fire after talking about Rochelle
In the episode, Rochelle admitted she was hurt after hearing a warning against Philip and expressed concern about the viewers' perception of her as she grew closer to fellow housemates, including Rhianna. Despite telling Rochelle she loved her, Rhianna appeared to be talking about her to Philip.
In later scenes, Rhianna said to Philip: "Oh my god I've shared a bed too much, like can I just be alone? I have so much empathy but she can't keep doing that to me, I've gone through way too much she keeps on dragging me." She was also seen talking to Yasmin about comments Rochelle had previously made.
Fans demand double eviction
Taking to social media, one person fumed: "Couldn’t believe her last night", as another echoed: "She is getting my 5 votes if she's up." A third added: "She could have been the winner." A fourth said Rhianna needed to be the next evicted, while a fifth fumed: "Playing the game more than most I think."
On X, another commented: "Rhianna game playinggg boyyyy." One person stated: "Have I missed something why does Rihanna hate Rochelle now wasn’t she saying how much she loves her earlier today?" A third replied: "Manifesting a double eviction: Rhianna out to the loudest boos, Philip out the back door so he doesn’t get the attention he thinks he deserves."
On Instagram, one fan fumed: "PLEASE RIHANNA UP FOR EVICTION THIS WEEK!!!!" Another demanded: "I think it should be a double eviction- Philip and Rihanna."
Some fans still back Rhianna
However, for some, Rhianna remained a firm favourite, as one viewer penned: "Love her." Another echoed: "Rhianna to win", while a third clarified: "Everyone of has their faults but BB only showing you what he wants the public to see. We are missing 23 hours a day."
The debate comes after many viewers called for a double eviction, hoping Rhianna would be the seventh housemate to leave the Big Brother house. Tonight's episode (October 26) will see more chaos as Rochelle asks Rhianna: "Why do you seem a bit weird? Am I imagining it?" Rhianna replies: "Why do you think I’m being weird?", as Rochelle comments: "I don’t know. You just don’t seem yourself." Rhianna then states: "I think I’m being completely me. There’s just a lot of things in my head." Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
