Big Brother bosses were forced to intervene during a tense clash between housemates, with Pauline sent to sleep in the Snug after a heated argument with newcomer Catrin.
Former private investigator Pauline, 51, has been left deflated in recent days after her close pal in the house, Johanne, was evicted on Friday night. She has also been locked in a bitter war of words with Rochelle, and now she has clashed with new housemate Catrin.
Bathroom row escalates
It is claimed that Catrin entered the bathroom and hoped to join a conversation Pauline was having. This, however, did not go to plan, and things came to blows.
“So she chipped in and asked a question, but Pauline ignored her, and Catrin wasn't happy, and it escalated into an argument where Pauline blew up at her,” a source told The Sun.
They went on to add: “Catrin was devastated and rushed to the Diary Room, and when she returned, Rochelle comforted her.” Rochelle later confronted Pauline about the situation, according to reports.
Pauline sent to the Snug
The source added: “That's when it all blew up again and got so bad Pauline was sent to sleep in the snug.” However, it is not known whether the scenes will be broadcast by ITV.
Pauline has made it evident that she's not a huge fan of Rochelle, and Johanne had previously had a string of run-ins with her. One scene saw the pair come to blows after Rochelle overheard Johanne and Pauline speaking privately about their experiences as Black women.
Face-to-face nominations announced
Tonight, the housemates will be told that they will be nominating face-to-face. Big Brother can be heard telling the housemates, “Today you will be nominating face-to-face,” as things get personal between them.
Later, one star can be seen being pulled away from her co-stars as fellow housemates are forced to intervene. Speaking in the bathroom, Pauline says: “Is this place empty? What the f*** was that? Like don't start on me, you literally just got here.”
Coming out of the toilet in tears, newcomer Catrin then confronts Pauline as she says: “Sorry, I just want to say I'm in the toilet the entire time and I can hear the conversation.”
Catrin can then be seen being comforted by Frankie as Rochelle asks her what has happened as she wipes away her tears. A fuming Rochelle confronts Pauline in the bathroom as she rages: “I hope you're f**** proud of yourself.”
Pauline hits back: “Don't start on me.” Walking over to Rochelle, she adds: “You don't know anything.” As Harry stands between them both, attempting to hold his co-star away when things turn sour, Pauline shouts: “Don't f**** come for me when you don't know.”
Attempting to see around Harry, with other housemates attempting to split the two up, Pauline then screams: “You know nothing and you're making assumptions... You f*** off.”
Big Brother declined to comment when approached by the Mirror. Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
