BBC Presenter Interrupts Coverage After Couple Makes Out

BBC presenter Betty Glover was forced to interrupt her own World Cup coverage after spotting a couple 'necking it on' behind her during a live report from Los Angeles.

The BBC Sport correspondent had been delivering a report following Scotland's 1-0 win against Haiti when she noticed the amorous couple directly behind her.

Glover admitted she 'couldn't hold it together' after the distraction, sharing a clip on Instagram that showed her struggling to maintain composure as the couple kissed passionately.

In the video, she begins: 'Hello and welcome to LA and your morning cup day after Scotland just enjoyed one of their best footballing moments in history winning their first world cup game.'

However, she quickly breaks into laughter and is forced to cut the segment short. The camera then shifts to crop out the couple.

Glover wrote on Instagram: 'Don't mind me guys... Just trying to do a piece to camera when a couple started necking it on behind me. @georgecoops behind the camera couldn't stop laughing & in the end I couldn't hold it together.'

The post garnered humorous responses, with one follower commenting: 'Cant believe you actually started talking.' Journalist Christian Hewgill called it 'the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.' Another fan wrote: 'Fair play for trying to keep going! A true pro.'

This incident follows a separate BBC apology after an American fan used a swear word during a live interview, describing FIFA bosses as 'greedy f***s.' The reporter promptly apologized for the language.
