In a hilarious and previously unseen moment from the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp, YouTuber AngryGinge confessed his celebrity crush, only to be met with a characteristically brutal response from his campmate, the legendary interviewer Ruby Wax.
Ginge's Celebrity Crush Revealed
The moment aired during Tuesday's episode of the ITV2 aftershow, Unpacked, hosted by Joel Dommett. The 24-year-old content creator, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was chatting with Ruby Wax, 72, and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, 49, in the leaders' treehouse.
Ruby, interviewing Ginge in the style of her famous show Ruby Wax Meets, probed him about his love life and what his ideal type would be. After Ginge gave a vague answer about someone funny and spontaneous, Ruby accused him of "covering" and pressed him for a specific name.
Ginge finally admitted: 'Michelle Keegan, I think she's beautiful.' He elaborated on his hypothetical approach, saying he'd ask the former Coronation Street star for her Instagram. His confession was swiftly shut down by Ruby, who told him he was "getting boring," with Lisa clarifying that was a typical Ruby Wax interview tactic.
Camp Tensions and Clashes
This wasn't the first time Ginge's romantic life has been a topic in the jungle. Earlier in the series, he recounted how an ex-girlfriend broke up with him via text while he was in the middle of a six-hour livestream, a story that followed his tale of an elaborate rose petal gesture to make the relationship official.
Aside from his love life revelations, Ginge has also been at the centre of camp tensions, particularly concerning washing-up duties. After his stint as camp leader ended, he and pal Aitch were tasked with the chore, leading to a clash with campmates Kelly Brook and Vogue Williams.
Ginge protested against people eating their rice rations from their mugs, arguing it unnecessarily increased his workload. 'I'm not having it anymore! I'm taking a stand,' he vented in the Bush Telegraph. The dispute was eventually resolved by Aitch, who brokered a compromise that the camp voted to adopt.
Bonding and Moving Forward
Despite the occasional clash, Ginge has formed strong bonds in camp, particularly with Ruby Wax and Lisa Riley. He also opened up about struggling with homesickness, confessing that not being able to contact his mum for ten days had been difficult.
With camp life rolling on, viewers can expect more revelations, trials, and the unique dynamics that only the I'm A Celebrity jungle can produce. The show continues nightly on ITV1 and ITVX.
