Fans of I'm a Celebrity... South Africa were left in stitches after Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas took a staggering ten minutes to complete a puzzle during the All Stars series premiere on Monday night (April 6). The ITV show, filmed last year, sees former campmates return to compete.
Adam and Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts were named team captains by hosts Ant and Dec. Ashley picked Olympian Sir Mo Farah, while Adam teamed up with Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard. The challenge, Tipped Over The Edge, required pairs strapped back to back to collect puzzle pieces from a tipping ledge to build a star.
Ashley and Mo fell off the ledge multiple times, incurring a 30-second penalty. Adam and Beverley initially fared well, collecting pieces efficiently. However, disaster struck when they fell off the ledge trying to retrieve the final piece, losing some collected pieces. Despite having time left, Adam then took ten minutes to figure out where to place the jigsaw pieces, causing Ant and Dec to laugh and ultimately costing them the challenge.
Viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their disbelief. @Flat__l1ned said: '10 minutes to do that puzzle, Adam! Get your backside in the scrubs #ImACeleb.' @y2kemz added: 'Ashley did the puzzle in just over a minute and Adam took over ten minutes #ImACeleb.'
