22 Kids and Counting Star's Husband Quits Job After Stroke Scare

Millie Radford, star of the reality show 22 Kids and Counting, has revealed that her husband Harley was forced to quit his job following a major health scare. In the latest episode, Harley describes being rushed to hospital after experiencing symptoms including a drooping face and slurred speech.

Doctors diagnosed Harley with Bell's palsy, a condition causing temporary facial paralysis. The 24-year-old believes stress from work and childcare may have triggered the episode. 'I am scared. I think anyone would be scared if they thought they had a stroke at such a young age,' he said.

Millie returned to work cleaning caravans after five years as a stay-at-home mother, leaving Harley to care for their three children. However, her mother expressed surprise at the arrangement, questioning whether Harley could cope alone. Millie admitted she worries about her husband's anxiety but said, 'One of us has to go to work.'

To lift Harley's spirits, Millie bought the family a puppy named Bella. But the joy was short-lived when a lump was discovered on Bella's tummy, requiring a £2,500 operation the family cannot afford. The couple are now selling possessions to raise funds, facing the possibility that Bella may have to be put to sleep.
