A mother has been left red-faced after a misunderstanding with her personal trainer over progress photos. Gemma Hill, a presenter at Heart West Midlands, shared the embarrassing exchange on social media, leaving followers in stitches.
Hill's new personal trainer had asked for 'before' photos in her underwear, instructing her not to suck in her stomach or strike flattering poses, but to 'be honest' for a baseline. Following his instructions, she snapped a photo and sent it to him.
However, the trainer quickly clarified: 'Hey, sorry Gem I meant take photos for yourself not to send to me. So you can check out your progress.' Hill replied: 'OMG I'm so sorry. What a t**t I thought I was meant to send them to you. How embarrassing.'
The trainer added: 'No lol I don't ask clients to send me pictures in underwear. I was eating dinner with my girl she's quizzing me 'who is this chick...'' Hill posted the screenshot with the caption 'How do I go back' and a despairing emoji.
Commenters rushed to comfort her, with one saying: 'My PT told me to take pics but said do not send me them so I'm assuming others have before...' Another wrote: 'Don't worry I probably would have thought the same!' Some found it hilarious, with one saying: 'Sorry but that's so funny.'
