Blossoms Announce Biggest UK Arena Tour with Manchester Homecoming Show
Blossoms Announce Biggest UK Arena Tour Including Manchester Gig

Stockport band Blossoms have announced details of their biggest UK arena headline tour to date, which will include a major homecoming show in Manchester.

The Greater Manchester five-piece, fronted by Tom Ogden, first broke onto the scene in 2014, with their debut self-titled album topping the charts upon its release two years later. They have since released five studio albums, four of which reached number one, and their sixth record, Songs From The Wedding Cake, is set for release in October. Their latest single, Meet Me In Love, features Love Island host Maya Jama and It’s A Sin actor Callum Scott-Howells.

To coincide with the upcoming album, the band will hit the road for five dates across the UK in November and December, hailed as their biggest arena headline tour. They will be joined by very special guests The Royston Club on all dates.

The tour kicks off on November 26 at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, followed by a show at London’s Alexandra Palace on November 27. The band will then play at Co-op Live for a homecoming Manchester gig on Saturday, November 28.

General sale for tickets begins next Thursday (June 26) at 9.30am, with a special pre-sale available from Tuesday (June 24) at 9.30am via Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours, and See Tickets. The pre-sale is open to fans who have pre-ordered the upcoming album from the Blossoms website, with the Manchester pre-sale also open to Co-operative Members.

After Manchester, the band will perform in Birmingham and Glasgow, with the tour concluding on December 5.

Speaking about the music video for their latest single, Tom Ogden said the appearance from Maya Jama came about after a chance encounter in Manchester in November 2024, when the city hosted the European Music Awards at Co-op Live. “After meeting Maya Jama at the MTV EMAs in Manchester a couple of years ago, we took a chance and sent her a DM to see if she’d be interested in being involved,” Tom recalled. “She replied straight away saying she was up for it, and she was an absolute joy to work with.”

The upcoming album’s title nods to the band’s roots, taking its name from the local nickname for Stockport’s iconic Victorian town hall, where Tom himself got married.
