Before a rainy but memorable set opening Take That's Circus Live tour in Sunderland on Tuesday, 80s music legend Belinda Carlisle took time to explore a famous Northumberland landmark. The singer, known for classics like 'Heaven is a Place on Earth' and 'Leave a Light On', was fascinated by Holy Island, which she called Lindisfarne Island on Instagram.
A Ghostly Adventure
Belinda upped the ante by doing some ghost hunting on the island, writing: 'Brought my dowsing rods to notoriously haunted Lindisfarne Island today looking for ghosts and goblins.' The island, featured in ITV's Vera and the film '28 Years Later', is a popular tourist spot steeped in history.
Fan Reactions
One fan replied: 'Stayed in a hotel there last year and never will again! LOVE Lindisfarne... but that night freaked me out.' Another commented: 'My part of the world! Enjoy.'
Rain Doesn't Dampen Spirits
Despite heavy rain at the Stadium of Light, Belinda performed under a gazebo and looked to be having a great time. She and The Script are supporting Take That on the tour, which continues across the UK this summer.
