British boxing star Tyson Fury made a surprise appearance at the UFC Freedom 250 event held at the White House on Sunday night, wearing a cap with a bold message of support for Donald Trump.
Fury's White House Appearance
The heavyweight champion joined President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and several prominent MAGA figures at the landmark event celebrating America's 250th independence anniversary. Fury emerged after the second bout, walking out to Kings of Leon's 'Sex on Fire' in a blazer and trousers adorned with his 'Gypsy King' logo in gold.
The standout element of his outfit was a cap reading "Donald Trump for Prime Minister" alongside an embroidered British flag, reminiscent of Trump's iconic "Make America Great Again" caps.
Event Highlights
Earlier, President Trump and UFC chief Dana White walked together from the Oval Office to the White House balcony, overlooking the open-sided structure known as "The Claw" erected on the South Lawn. The national anthem played as fighter jets flew overhead, prompting chants of "USA, USA." Trump then took his seat beside the octagon cage, where seven bouts were scheduled.
Among the 4,000 guests were billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, NHL stars Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, and several UFC champions.
Fury's Boxing Ambitions
Fury's visit came a day after watching his brother Tommy defeat strongman Eddie Hall. He also told the crowd he aims to face Anthony Joshua in the future, reigniting the long-running saga between the two fighters.
