The world of reality television has been rocked by a fresh paternity scandal, as Jonny Holloway, a star from the hit show The Traitors, has publicly declared he is seeking to establish if he is the father of his co-star Charlotte Chilton's baby daughter.
The Paternity Claim and Request for a Test
In a revealing interview, Holloway stated that he had asked for a DNA test several times to determine whether he is the biological father of Charlotte's daughter, Penelope. He claims that a sexual encounter occurred between them on a drunken night out, during which he was heavily intoxicated. Despite his assertions, Holloway alleges that Charlotte Chilton has since gone silent on the matter after initially agreeing to the test.
"If I was the father I would step up and take that child as my own," Holloway told the Daily Mail, emphasising his military background and commitment to being a good father to his existing children. "I’ve asked for a DNA test several times but have been ignored."
Charlotte's Stance and Conor Maynard's Denials
This new claim directly contradicts Charlotte Chilton's persistent narrative. She has repeatedly and publicly insisted that singer Conor Maynard is the father of her child, a claim he has consistently denied. The dispute escalated when two separate DNA tests, taken at Charlotte's behest, confirmed that Conor Maynard is not the father.
In a recent emotional interview, a tearful Charlotte stated, "I know for a fact that the only person who can be my daughter's father is Conor Maynard." In response, Maynard appeared to mock her claims on social media, posting a video where he offered an "invisible tissue for your invisible tears" and releasing a song with lyrics telling the subject to "please shut up".
A Tangled Web of Accusations
Further complicating the situation, Conor Maynard took to social media to suggest that another, unnamed star from The Traitors could be the potential father. Charlotte Chilton has denied this, stating it is impossible as she did not sleep with that individual.
