Chilling CCTV footage has emerged showing TOWIE star Jordan Wright in a tense argument just hours before his tragic death in Thailand. The 33-year-old reality star, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex, was found dead earlier this week in Phuket after moving to the country for a 'new start'. The footage, published by The Sun, captures Jordan at 11:37pm on March 12, minutes before he was seen running erratically back to his hotel.
In the video, Jordan is seen arguing with a mystery stranger, with local police believing he was on the phone. He allegedly said: 'Before they come back, let's get them back in the head and have a f**king shootout. You better f**king perform yourself. I'm gonna go for a long time, man, you're gonna be late for your homecoming.' He added: 'You've got to be able to defend yourself. That's all it takes, yeah, yeah, it's true, don't be cheating, alright bruv.'
Police Lieutenant Colonel Chanasin Prateep Na Thalang stated that a foreign family of three staying at The Title Hotel witnessed Jordan walking alone and shouting loudly as if in a frenzied state. The family heard someone wading in a drainage canal before the noise went quiet around midnight. Thalang said: 'The water level in some parts of the canal was chest-deep, and with the darkness and his agitated state, he may not have been able to climb back out.'
Further CCTV shows Jordan grabbing onto a white pickup truck as he runs through the complex and nearly stumbles, then weaving erratically between buildings. Police do not believe he was being chased, but have not ruled out the possibility that others were involved. Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong said: 'The circumstances leading up to the death are quite unclear. It is possible that other people were involved.'
Jordan had checked into his hotel at around 7pm on March 12, and his actions until 11:30pm remain unclear. He arrived in Thailand on December 3 on a Digital Nomad visa. A hotel source said he had not been visited during his stay and that there was nothing unusual until he failed to check out.
