Tess Daly and Vernon Kay have been seen enjoying a night out together just days after announcing their separation, sparking speculation of a possible reconciliation. The former couple attended the Pub In The Park festival in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, where they were photographed smiling and dancing alongside friends, including actor Will Mellor.
Vernon, 52, was still wearing his wedding ring at the event, leading some fans to hope the pair might reunite. The BBC Radio 2 presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing host, 57, announced their amicable split earlier this month after 23 years of marriage, stating they remain "great friends" and committed to co-parenting their daughters Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 17.
Vernon's father, Norman Kay, has urged his son not to rush into a new relationship, describing Tess as "a lovely woman" and emphasising the importance of family. A source told New magazine that Tess is not ready to move on and is focusing on self-care, while the couple reportedly toasted their futures together after releasing their statement.
The pair's marriage faced past challenges, including a sexting scandal in 2010 and renewed contact with the same woman in 2016, which Vernon said involved no inappropriate intent. However, Norman insists no third party is involved in the current split.
