Sam Faiers is set to relive the agony of having her late grandmother's treasured wedding ring stolen in a raid on her Surrey mansion. The emotional ordeal will be featured in the new ITV2 series 'Sam & Billie: The Sister Act', airing this week.
The reality star discovered the priceless heirloom was missing after thieves targeted her £2 million home earlier this year. The ring had been given to Sam by her grandmother Wendy, who passed away in 2021 after battling pneumonia.
Sam and her sister Billie were extremely close to their nan, who often joined them on holidays and events. Following the robbery, Sam has increased security at her home. The sisters have previously shared heartfelt tributes to Wendy, describing her as a 'legend' and 'the best nan ever'.
In a social media post after Wendy's death, Sam wrote: 'Nanny Wendy, a week today the lord called you home to heaven. I will love you forever nan, you was such a huge inspiration to Billie and I.' Billie also paid tribute, saying she was 'heartbroken' and would 'love you forever and ever'.
The new show promises a sombre start as it documents the aftermath of the theft. Fellow former TOWIE stars, including Gemma Collins and Jess Wright, have offered their condolences to the family.
