Reality Star Annabella Lovas Found Dead in Gran Canaria

Hungarian reality TV star Annabella Lovas, 32, has been found dead in a natural pool in Gran Canaria, Spanish police have confirmed. The former contestant on the Hungarian version of The Bachelor was discovered semi-naked in the Berriel Ravine on March 6, after being reported missing in November 2024.

Police chief Pablo Fernandez Sala described the identification process as 'hard and intense,' noting that the body had been in the water for about three weeks, making DNA extraction difficult. Investigators relied on dental records sent through Interpol to confirm her identity.

Lovas, who gained fame in 2021 and later moved to the Canary Islands, had been battling cancer, which reportedly left psychological after-effects. She was declared a 'vulnerable person' when first reported missing but was found safe in an apartment in Playa del Inglés at that time.

While the exact cause of death remains unconfirmed, police believe Lovas may have died elsewhere before flash floods carried her body to the remote ravine. No belongings were found at the scene, and the area was inaccessible even to trained hikers.

Authorities used drones and helicopters in the search but found only 'strange tattoos' on the body as initial clues. The case has left her family with unanswered questions, as investigators say some details may never be resolved.
