Convicted killer Oscar Pistorius has reportedly found love again with a 33-year-old business management consultant, just months after being released on parole. The disgraced Paralympian, 38, served nine years for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at his Pretoria home in 2013.
According to respected South African newspaper Netwerk24, Pistorius is dating Rita Greyling, a long-time family friend from Wakkerstroom in Mpumulanga. Sources close to the couple confirmed the romantic relationship, though details are being kept strictly private.
Pistorius was released into a media storm on January 5, 2024, still insisting he killed law graduate and model Reeva, 29, by mistake, believing she was a burglar. He lives with his uncle in a fortified mansion in Pretoria and is subject to parole conditions including random checks and a ban on firearms.
The reported romance comes amid tragedy for both families. In late 2022, Greyling's brother Ghini was involved in an incident where Willem Kruger drowned at a party; police later upgraded the death to a murder inquiry.
