Nicola Peltz Shares Cryptic Quote After Father's Day Drama
Nicola Peltz, wife of Brooklyn Beckham, appeared to take a subtle swipe on Instagram following a Father's Day feud that reportedly left her husband furious. The 31-year-old shared a quote on her Instagram story that read: "Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach." This came after Brooklyn ignored Father's Day posts from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
Father's Day Posts Ignored
Despite the deepening rift between Brooklyn and his famous family, David and Victoria posted throwback family photos on Father's Day. David captioned his post: "Being a dad is my most important job... I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads around the world." However, Brooklyn did not interact with the post, and a source told The Sun that he was "fuming" about it. "He’s asked them to leave him alone and they just keep posting him," the insider said. "It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone."
Ongoing Feud with Parents
The Father's Day drama is the latest in a series of public disputes between Brooklyn and his parents. Earlier this year, he publicly called out his "controlling" parents. Last week, he fronted a DoorDash advert for the World Cup, making various digs at them. In the viral clip, Brooklyn announced he would be watching the World Cup from home, throwing his tickets onto a coffee table surrounded by an expensive watch, a camera, and burnt pizza, quipping: "It's a long story." The move reportedly "devastated" David and Victoria.
Nicola's Own Father's Day Tribute
Before sharing the cryptic quote, Nicola posted a gushing tribute to her own father, Nelson Peltz, on Father's Day. The couple has rarely been out of the headlines recently, with their family drama playing out in public.
