Jack Kay, the 26-year-old known as the Ibiza Final Boss, was assaulted by a masked gang at The Runhead pub in Ryton, Tyne and Wear, on Friday evening. The group, reportedly armed with weapons including a car wrench, chased him into the pub and threw him across the bar area.
A witness told The Sun that four masked individuals entered the pub and attacked Kay, with patrons locked inside until police arrived. The viral star has recently been involved in online feuds with other influencers, but police have not linked those to the attack.
Northumbria Police responded to reports of a disturbance at about 5:45 pm. Officers attended but found no suspects or the victim at the scene. It was later confirmed that Kay sustained a minor injury. Police believe those involved are known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public.
Kay rose to fame for his distinctive dancing style and medieval haircut on the Ibiza club scene. The investigation is ongoing, and police are appealing for information.
