The mother of Selena Gomez's husband, music producer Benny Blanco, was forced to hide in her own home after burglars broke in. Sandra Levin was at the property in Studio City on Monday evening when two individuals dressed in dark clothing smashed a glass side door to gain entry at around 9.30pm.
Upon hearing the commotion, Levin ran upstairs and barricaded herself in a bathroom inside a bedroom while she called police. While hiding, she heard the intruders walk upstairs and open the bedroom door. Peeking out, she was spotted by the suspects, who immediately fled the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and it is unclear whether the suspects, who wore dark clothing and masks, were armed. The ordeal has left Levin understandably shaken.
The terrifying break-in comes just two months after Gomez and Blanco tied the knot at a private estate north of Santa Barbara. The couple’s romance began in 2019 when they collaborated on the song 'I Can't Get Enough', but they only went public with their relationship in December 2023. They announced their engagement in December 2024.
