Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly sent a legal letter to his parents, David and Victoria, instructing them to only contact him through lawyers. The move marks the latest escalation in a long-running family feud that has shown no signs of improvement.
According to a source, the 26-year-old aspiring chef made the decision after his requests for his parents to stop contacting him went unanswered. The situation had allegedly been affecting his mental health, and the legal notice was a step to protect himself. Brooklyn has said he would prefer any reconciliation to be handled privately, away from social media.
The rift deepened at the end of 2025 when Brooklyn blocked his family on Instagram, shortly after Victoria had liked one of his posts in a gesture she described as simply thinking of him before Christmas. David and Victoria later attempted to extend an olive branch over New Year, with David sharing a photo of himself and Brooklyn with the caption 'I love you all so much', which Victoria reshared with a heart. Brooklyn rejected these efforts.
Despite the estrangement, Brooklyn remains in contact with his grandparents on both sides. A source said he has reached out to them in his own time to avoid dragging them into the conflict, and that his wife Nicola Peltz has been his 'absolute rock'. The feud is believed to have originated around the time of Brooklyn and Nicola's 2022 wedding, when reports emerged that Nicola had refused to wear one of Victoria's designs.
A separate source confirmed that David was told to communicate with his son via the law firm Schillings. The ongoing family discord has meant David has experienced several milestones without Brooklyn by his side, including his 50th birthday, his knighthood, and his forthcoming Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
