Taylor Swift scores third week at number one with Patient Zero
Taylor Swift's Patient Zero tops UK chart for third week

Taylor Swift has secured a third consecutive week at number one on the UK singles chart with her track Patient Zero. The 36-year-old popstar is the only artist to have achieved three UK number one singles in 2026, according to the Official Charts Company, with the song joining her previous chart-toppers Opalite and I Knew It, I Knew You.

The track was released in September alongside a music video featuring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.

Chart Movers and Viral Hits

Jamie Miller's Babydoll climbed one place to number two, followed by Ashe's Stop The Wedding at three and Sienna Spiro's Great Expectation at four. Adela's Nicole Kidman, named after the Hollywood star, jumped to number five after going viral on TikTok. The song, released at the start of September, gained attention when Dua Lipa, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, and Kidman herself appeared in a video singing the lyrics during Paris Fashion Week.

Album Chart Success

On the albums chart, Jamie T has landed his second number one with Ghosts (100 Days of Morning), following his first chart-topping record, The Theory of Whatever, in 2022. The English singer-songwriter, born Jamie Alexander Treays, is known for songs including Sheila, If You Got The Money, and Calm Down Dearest. He told Official Charts: “Thanks to all the fans that made this happen. I’m eternally grateful.”

At number two is British drum and bass duo Chase & Status with their eighth studio album, Generic Everything, followed by Olivia Rodrigo's You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love at three. Michael Jackson's The Essential holds number four, while Olivia Dean's The Art Of Loving re-entered the top five.
