Lori Loughlin may be biting her lip when it comes to her estranged husband, but her friends aren't holding back from saying what they really think of Mossimo Giannulli.
Jodie Sweetin, 44, took an obvious swipe at the designer while attending The Abbey's 35th anniversary party in West Hollywood on Wednesday, referring to him as the 'dead weight' that her former Full House co-star was finally able to unload.
'There's nothing like dropping some dead weight to get you back out there looking cute,' Sweetin said with a wink, according to Us Weekly.
She was, of course, paying a compliment to Loughlin following the actress' stunning post-split makeover.
'She looks gorgeous! I haven't seen her in a while, but I'm sure she looks absolutely amazing,' Sweetin told the outlet.
Loughlin, 61, debuted a sassy bob hairstyle to go with her sexy side-slit gown while attending the Opening Gala for David Geffen Galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art last month.
Loughlin was accompanied at the star-studded event by her daughter Olivia Jade, 26, who could have been her sister if listening to Sweetin.
'Her and Olivia look exactly the same. And you know what? Bless,' Loughlin's pal added.
The When Calls the Heart star separated from Giannulli, 62, in October 2025 after nearly 28 years of marriage. Her representative at the time said they were living apart and taking a break.
Neither has officially filed for divorce as of yet, but in January Loughlin was reported to still be 'extremely angry' with her ex and unable to let go of her resentment, per People.
Before the 2019 college admissions scandal, the couple's marriage had been thought to be a successful one. Then they were accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as rowing recruits, even though they had no experience with the sport.
After maintaining their innocence for a year, the couple pleaded guilty to fraud charges in May 2020. Loughlin was sentenced to two months in federal prison, a $150,000 fine and 100 hours of community service. Giannulli, on the other hand, received the stiffer punishment: five months in prison, a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.
Now, 'many people in Lori's orbit' are 'angry at Mossimo,' a source told Us Weekly.
Last October, John Stamos, whose character, Jesse, romanced Loughlin’s alter ego, Rebecca, on the long-running ABC sitcom, called Giannulli a ‘terrible narcissist’ during an appearance on the Good Guys podcast.
'Whatever negativity or hardships that [she's] been through in [her] life is connected to this guy,' the actor said at the time. 'She goes to f–king prison for this asshole for three months' and 'put up with a lot over the years.'
Stamos went on to say that he would 'never talk to [Giannulli] again.'
Meanwhile, Loughlin is said to be dating again while Giannulli has been seen on several outings with Los Angeles stylist Hannah Harrison including coffee runs and a visit to a nightclub.
